Meeting with the Mayor of Karkkila

On 7 January, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Finland had the honor of meeting Mr. Juha Jokitalo, Mayor of Karkkila. The meeting took place in a warm and respectful atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of dialogue and mutual understanding.

During the discussion, representatives of the Jamaat introduced the peaceful teachings of Islam, with a particular emphasis on the values of peace, tolerance, interfaith harmony, and service to society. The conversation also highlighted the Ahmadiyya Muslim community’s commitment to promoting social cohesion and constructive engagement within Finnish society.

As a gesture of goodwill, the Jamaat was privileged to present Mayor Jokitalo with a copy of the Holy Qur’an. The meeting was a meaningful step toward strengthening mutual understanding and fostering positive relations between religious communities and local leadership.
