Meeting with the Mayor of Lieto and Visit to City Library

By the grace of Allah, on February 11, 2026, a delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Finland, including Missionary-in-Charge Shahid Mahmood Kahloon, National Vice President Rizwan Ahmad Dogar, and National Secretary Tabligh Fareed Ahmad, met with the Mayor of Lieto, Mr. Mika Ingi. The meeting was held in a warm and respectful atmosphere, focusing on the community’s efforts in promoting peace, interfaith harmony, and social welfare. The delegation also shared the global peace initiatives of His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba), which the Mayor highly commended. To mark the occasion, a Finnish translation of the Holy Quran was presented to the Mayor.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited the Lieto City Library and met with the Head of Library Services, Ms. Iiris Mannonen. During the visit, a copy of the Finnish translation of the Holy Quran was donated to the library to encourage cultural understanding and provide the public with access to Islamic teachings. Ms. Mannonen expressed her appreciation for the visit, which successfully conveyed the community’s message of peace and humanitarian service.
