Since its inception in 1889, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat has been leading a global effort to revive the true, peaceful message of Islam as taught by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Ahamdiyya Muslimi Jamaat Suomi is contributing its part to achieve the same common target to convey the peaceful message of true Islam to the Finnish society.

With this desire for peace, our community has grown and is now established in more than 200 countries with a following of 200 million. Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Suomi is one of those sub organisations.

Our motto is Love for all, Hatred for none is the key objective to our all efforts.

At Ahmadiyya Muslimi Jamaat Suomi we are organising variety of programs to help eliminating hate, discrimination and extremism and to promote love, religious harmony and loyalty to the country. These programs include

  • peace symposiums
  • regular country wide city cleanups,
  • visits to nursing homes to meet old and share gifts and time with them,
  • charity walks
  • refugee camps, providing them clothing and food with guidance on how to live in Finnish society. And many more.

As Ahmadi muslims, we believe that we must abide by these values in our daily life as they help foster a sense of unity, cohesion, harmony and peace in the world. So we also focus on personal and spiritual development of our members and hold workshops and classes to groom them as better persons for themselves and society.

The community’s spiritual leader (Khalifa), remains devoted to peace and reminds us that: “Islam teaches us to always be mindful towards God Who is our creator and to always keep His memory fresh in our hearts and to deal with His creation with love, affection, harmony and tolerance.” All our activities are organised under direct guidance of our Khalifa.

The Promised Messiah (Founder of Ahmadiyya Community)

The Promised Messiah (Founder of Ahmadiyya Community)

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835–1908) was a religious reformer, scholar, and spiritual leader born in Qadian, a small village in Punjab, India. He is the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, a global Islamic revival movement.

In 1889, he claimed to be the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, fulfilling the prophecies of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and other religious scriptures about the advent of a reformer in the latter days.

His mission was to revive the true teachings of Islam by promoting peace, love, and universal brotherhood. He rejected violent interpretations of jihad, emphasizing instead the importance of intellectual and spiritual struggle.

Our mission

Our mission

Our mission is to foster interfaith harmony, encourage open dialogue, and serve society through humanitarian efforts. We actively participate in community service projects, such as food distribution, blood drives, and environmental initiatives, demonstrating our commitment to the well-being of all. Through educational programs, spiritual gatherings, and outreach events, we strive to dispel misconceptions about Islam and build bridges of understanding across cultural and religious divides.
Rooted in the belief that faith and reason coexist, AMJ Finland provides a platform for meaningful discussions on spiritual growth, social justice, and the role of religion in today’s world.

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us in creating a society based on mutual respect, compassion, and shared values. Together, we aspire to build a peaceful and inclusive Finland.

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad

Since the founder’s demise in 1908 we have been led by a series of Caliphs or spiritual leaders, the present being His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (MABHH); this form of global leadership is another distinctive feature of this community.
He continues to relay the message of peace to the corners of the earth, a message that has been reflected in action by the community through humanitarian efforts by men, women and the youth of the community.
In fact the members of the community willingly give time and money for relief work even in the remote parts of the globe, to help those in need regardless of creed or colour.

We are not funded by any country, government or organisation. It is our belief that to do good works requires us to make sacrifices of time and money and that is why the Ahmadiyya Muslim community is entirely self-funding. Members donate willingly to support the work of the community as well as a to a whole host of charitable and humanitarian activities that we carry out – almost all of which are run by volunteers.

We organise regular peace symposiums and run a free to view satellite channel MTA International (available on TV & YouTube) dedicated to spreading harmony among and between all people regardless of faith and background, further underlining our openness as a community that promotes integration based on mutual respect.
