Tampere Book Fair
By the grace of Allah Almighty, the local Jamaat of Ahmadiyya Finland in Tampere, with the cooperation of the National Tabligh Department, had the opportunity to set up a Tabligh stall for the first time at the Tampere Book Festival from November 30 to December 1, 2024. This book festival was held in Finland’s third most densely populated metropolitan city, which has a population of 450,000.
Alhamdulillah, the stall was successful in every aspect. Visitors took free Jamaat literature with them. Two individuals took an English translation of the Holy Quran, while two others requested a Finnish translation. In addition, there were some interesting discussions, and new Tabligh contacts were established. A Finnish ambassador also visited the stall, where a meaningful discussion took place, and an introduction to the Jamaat was given. He was also presented with various Jamaat books as a gift.
A Christian visitor wrote a blog post about the Jamaat’s stall, including a picture of it, and shared it on social media. In his post, he introduced the claim of the Promised Messiah (as) and the Jamaat.
May Allah bless these efforts with positive results and enable us to spread the message of Islam Ahmadiyyat and the Promised Messiah (as) in the best possible manner. Ameen.
