Open Religion Day
For the first time in Finland, the Finnish Religious Forum (Uskot Forumi) organized an “Open Religion Day.” Alhamdulillah, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Finland also participated in this event. The Helsinki Prayer Center remained open for visitors on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Members of the community (both men and women) were encouraged to invite their guests who are under Tableegh (religious outreach) to this event.

At the Prayer Center, the National Tableegh Department organized beautiful exhibitions, a welcoming area, guided tours of the Prayer Center, an introduction to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, discussions, refreshments, and a Q&A session. These arrangements provided visitors with a detailed introduction to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
To welcome guests and answer their questions, the following representatives were present:
- Zeerak Ijaz Sahib (National Secretary of Tableegh),
- Masoom Ahmad Sahib (Tableegh Leader of Majlis Ansarullah),
- Rizwanullah Sahib (Tableegh Officer of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya),
- The author (Publication Leader of Majlis Ansarullah).
Additionally, various members from Ansarullah and Khuddam took different responsibilities throughout the day. Visitors also had the opportunity to ask questions to Shahid Mahmood Kahlon Sahib, the Missionary-in-Charge of Finland. The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Finland and the President of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya were also present at different times during the event.

A total of 31 guests visited the Prayer Center that day, including individuals from various walks of life. Among them was a delegation of 19 high school students, as well as Finland’s former ambassador to African countries, teachers, government health department officials, and representatives from religious organizations.
Alhamdulillah, the visitors highly appreciated this initiative of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and expressed that such events should be held more frequently. The guests asked questions about Jihad, the claim of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) as the Mahdi, the persecution of Ahmadis in Pakistan, the system of Khilafat, women’s rights, and other topics. Some interested guests were invited by the missionary to meet Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah be his Helper) and attend the Peace Symposium. Guests also eagerly took introductory literature and brochures with them.
May Allah Almighty bring great and blessed results from this program. Ameen.
