Children day held in Helsinki, Finland
By the grace and blessings of Allah Almighty, Jamaat Ahmadiyya Finland had the opportunity to celebrate Children’s Day under the National Tarbiyyat Department on January 1, 2025. A large number of children and parents enthusiastically participated in this special event.
The event commenced after Zuhr and Asr prayers under the guidance of Respected Farrukh Islam Sahib, Acting President of the Jamaat. Following the recitation of the Holy Quran, Respected Basharat-ur-Rahman Sahib, National Secretary Tarbiyyat, delivered a presentation on the topic “How to Raise Children in the Era of Social Media.” He highlighted the use of social media, its benefits, and its drawbacks.
After this presentation, a Q&A session was held, where children and parents had the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance.
The event was organized in two separate halls. The program for girls was conducted under the supervision of the Sadr Lajna Imaillah, where mothers participated with their daughters. Similarly, in the men’s hall, fathers attended the event with their young children.
To engage the children, various activities were organized, including a puzzle competition, musical chairs, and a quiz contest. These activities were highly enjoyable for the children, and parents also took great delight in them. All participating children, as well as those who secured positions in the competitions, were presented with gifts and prizes.
The event concluded with dinner and Maghrib & Isha prayers. The total attendance was 108. Alhamdulillah!
